We collect, use, and disclose personal information for purposes that DV Capital reasonably considers appropriate in the circumstances, including assessing mortgage suitability and available options, facilitating mortgage applications, approvals, and funding, verifying identity and information (including for anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing purposes), complying with legal, regulatory, licensing, and FINTRAC obligations, communicating with clients and third parties regarding products, services, and inquiries, improving our services, website, and operations, and marketing and business development activities, where permitted by applicable law. Personal information will not be used for purposes other than mortgage brokerage and related regulatory purposes unless otherwise permitted or required by law.

Consent:

By providing personal information to DV Capital, you consent to its collection, use, and disclosure as described in this Privacy Policy. For mortgage clients completing an online or written mortgage application, additional and more detailed consent disclosures are provided through a client consent form. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, subject to legal, contractual, or regulatory restrictions. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide services or to comply with regulatory requirements.

Disclosure of Personal Information:

DV Capital does not sell personal information. We may disclose personal information only as necessary to fulfill mortgage brokerage and regulatory purposes, including disclosure to lenders, investors, insurers, appraisers, lawyers, credit bureaus, referral sources, and other parties involved in mortgage evaluation and funding, regulatory bodies (including FSRA, BCFSA, and FINTRAC) as required, third-party service providers who support our operations (including IT, website hosting, CRM systems, social media, marketing, analytics, document management, and compliance services), and government authorities or law enforcement agencies where required or permitted by law.
